404: Find Me is a story about Sunna trying to find her place.
Sunna is both an idol and a composer.
As an idol, she constantly compares herself to others. She notices when the crowd gets quieter during her part. She sees trends moving faster than she can keep up with. She worries that people will forget her before she ever gets the chance to shine.
As a songwriter, she believes music can reach people in a way she cannot.
That conflict is the heart of the song.
She doesn’t think she’s the best dancer.
She doesn’t think she’s the most popular member.
She doesn’t think she’s naturally talented at being an idol.
That’s why she questions herself with lines like:
“Main girl? no, inferior”
“Faker or maker?”
She is constantly wondering whether she belongs on the stage at all.
In the MV, her wings are intentionally drawn like doodles.
The other Angels look complete.
Sunna does not.
The wings represent her desire to become an angel while still feeling unfinished and unworthy.
Throughout the song, she struggles with self-doubt, anti comments, comparison, creative pressure, and the fear of being forgotten.
But instead of giving up, she keeps creating.
The turning point is:
“Send me a melody that never betrays me, God!”
She stops asking people for validation.
Instead, she asks for a song.
A melody powerful enough to survive trends, loneliness, and disappointment.
The song is colorful, chaotic, weird, and happy on the surface, but underneath it is about a girl desperately trying to be noticed before her time runs out. Not because she wants to be famous.
Because she wants proof that she mattered.
That someone heard her.
That someone found her.
